Joining John Gardner are higher education leaders and other relevant persons of interest who will discuss innovation and strategies that improve higher education.The Gardner Institute, a 24-year-old non-profit, has been at the forefront of innovation in higher education; our mission very clearly connects us to the broader societal efforts to increase social justice.The Gardner Institute connects with thousands of professionals in the higher education ecosystem; through a wide array of activities such as Transformative Conversations, the Teaching and Learning Academy, and the Socially Just Design Series, and through our work as an Intermediary for Scale supported by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Episode 22 - Laura Latta Higher Education Collaborations: Innovation in Opportunity
Dr. Laura Latta is a dedicated educator with experience in Pre K through postsecondary instructional leadership, cross-sector community development, and education research design and analytics. Laura, a lifelong Tulsan, has committed her entire career to education and has held leadership roles as an award-winning teacher, professor, school administrator, community coordinator, researcher, and nonprofit director. Throughout her career, Laura has used her experience to bring together leaders in education, business, civic and community organizations to work collaboratively toward high quality education and equitable access to learning opportunities for all students from early childhood through postsecondary.
